Frequently Asked Questions
Will your approach be effective for my industry or unique team?
Yes. The principles of healthy teams are universal – and we tailor everything in partnership with you. We’ve worked with executives and teams in tech, healthcare, finance, nonprofits – you name it. In our initial assessment, we learn about your specific challenges, company culture, and goals. That means the coaching and workshops you choose are built for your environment (not some off-the-shelf formula). Different industry, same outcome: Better communication, Trust and Performance. Whether your team is five people or fifty, in the office or remote, we adjust our approach to make sure it absolutely works for you.
We’re extremely busy, how much time will this take?
We get it, you can’t pull people away from their jobs for too long. That’s why our programs are flexible and efficient. A typical Team Development program might involve a few short team sessions (e.g. 90 minutes) scheduled bi-weekly, plus brief one-on-one coaching check-ins. We’ll work around your calendar – sessions can be virtual or in-person, and we often integrate into existing meetings or retreats to minimize disruption. Think of it this way: investing a couple of hours now to fix communication issues can save you countless hours of firefighting each week. We’ll find a schedule that boosts your team without derailing your day-to-day operations.
What if some team members are resistant to coaching or team exercises?
It’s normal to have a few skeptics – but our approach wins them over. We use a direct, down-to-earth style with a bit of humor, so sessions are engaging, not cheesy or preachy. We also involve the team in setting goals and ground rules, so everyone feels ownership from the start. Often, the ones who are hesitant end up being the biggest contributors once they see this is a practical, no-nonsense process focused on their real work issues (not trust falls or kumbaya circles!). And because our coach has experience with all personality types – from outspoken execs to quiet engineers – we know how to draw everyone into the conversation respectfully. Bottom line: we create a safe environment where even the cynics can speak up. By the end, those “resisters” usually admit they’re glad they did this, after experiencing the improvements in day-to-day life at work.
